91 vr4 bonnet, frontbar and intercooler urgently needed

Hey everyone,

Just bought a black 91 vr4. Previous owner hacked the bonnet to fit shit bonnet vents. He also hacked the front bar etc to pieces to fit a big front mount. Now it won't pass roadworthy. Need to find front bar and bonnet also standard front mount. have tried to find these parts but am not having much luck. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Hmmm, I am pretty sure I know that car!
Have a look at a Galant gsr or es bonnet at Salisbury wreckers or ABC spare parts on Ipswich Rd. They had a SE and a GSR there a couple of weeks ago.
The front bar will be an issue though I think.

Im located in Brisbane. Sounds like this car might be well known in Brisbane. It's been put together pretty cheaply, obviously a back garage job. Thanks I will try looking into those bonnets tomorrow. Yeah those front bars are really hard to find alright. Thanks again guys

Shoot GVR40 a Pm. He might have a bar that you can buy if not borrow.
It'll be Maroon though. I also have a pretty stuffed RS cooler that you could chuck on it to pass RWC.

Im on the Right Side (north) of the river lol. im going to try source the front bar tomorrow but if not ill pm that guy. It seems really hard to find any parts for these cars now. Hoping that if i get the bar i can re-mount the intercooler and change the piping so i dnt have to put the stock one on. A mate has suggested looking to NZ for parts

I may have a spare front bar and bonnet, like brisvr4 said they are burgendy not black, not sure what I'm doing with my front bar so I may hang onto that.

A J spec OIL cooler is bigger than an A spec intercooler, you'd want to be reeeeeeealy desperate
